Candidate for City Councillor
Elected under the Vrai changement pour Montréal banner in 2013, Steve Shanahan chose to run for a second term in order to continue his mission of making Ville-Marie a borough full of successes.
Steve Shanahan has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bishop's University and has been a marketing consultant for many years. His passion for politics eventually pushed him to change his path, to officially get into the municipal election race.
As Vice-President of Interaction for Peter-McGill, Steve Shanahan led a committee that allowed the financial turnaround of this round table. To this end, he has put in place innovative technological tools. He was also founding president of the association of residents of Place Victor Hugo. He then developed solutions that led to the reduction of crime, the improvement of snow management and the implementation of a composting program for residents.
