A new logo for Vrai changement pour Montréal

Montreal, September 21, 2017 – The municipal party Vrai changement pour Montréal presented today its new logo, along with a new visual identity that will convey the message of the party from now on. The new visual identity is already displayed on social media and on the website Vraichangementmtl.org.

"Vrai changement pour Montréal represents Montrealers’ vision of our city as an internationally-acclaimed metropolis while still preserving the human scale and particularities of the various neighbourhoods. This vision is fundamental to Vrai changement pour Montréal and that is why we have built a visual signature inspired by the alveolus of the bee, a symbol representing the cooperative spirit that enabled our city to develop over the centuries," commented the leader of Vrai changement pour Montréal and candidate for Borough Mayor of Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Justine McIntyre.

In addition to the cooperative aspect symbolized by the alveolus, the new visual signature reminds us that, like the Montreal community, Vrai changement pour Montréal is composed of members from a myriad of horizons and communities, united in their shared goal of making Montreal a welcoming, prosperous and enjoyable city. Bold and modern, the new identity also reflects the desire for Vrai changement pour Montréal to break with old practices that have tarnished the image of municipal politics in the past, in order to offer a real alternative to Montrealers.
